Client: Private Developer
Value: £3m
Contractor: Oakapple Construction

This housing estate is built on a redundant farm yard in the village of Aberford near Leeds. The development involved the master planning and delivery of 20 dwellings with garages and gardens on a tight and constraining site.  It also included the refurbishment of the existing farm house and the conversion of several stone barns.

The new build dwellings were carefully designed to complement the local context and be in keeping with the surrounding conservation area and green belt. Built from timber frames and encased in stone, the dwellings form terraces of cottages and town houses which enclose a private courtyard and create a serene environment.
